DCES Book
Club

Kathy McCray, media specialist, sponsors our Book Club. A select group of students in fourth or fifth grades
reads from the Georgia Book Award nominee list. Each week Mrs. McCray discusses the books with students using
a quiz bowl game format. Students will compete at the Helen Ruffin Reading Bowl in February against other
schools in our region.
