Dooly County Elementary School, located in Pinehurst, opened its doors for the first time to students in August of 2003. This new school represents a consolidation of the county’s only two elementary schools (Vienna Elementary to the south and Unadilla Elementary to the north) and the Dooly County Pre-K into one complex.

The student body consists of approximately 835 students in grades Pre-K through fifth from within the County. Our staff is made up of 65 certified teachers and 51 classified employees.

Our focus is on teaching the Georgia Performance Standards, Quality Core Curriculum, evaluating student learning through benchmark assessments, and differentiating instruction to meet the needs of our diverse student population. Our staff is committed to providing quality instruction, while maintaining high expectations for student achievement.
